How to implement INTERMITTENT FASTING?

Intermittent fasting (IF) is an eating pattern that cycles between periods of eating and fasting. There are different approaches to intermittent fasting, but what I do is the 16:8, I fast for 16 hours and my eating window is around 8 hours. I usually start eating at around 12 p.m. and will stop eating beyond 8 p.m. What this does is it restricts my eating window.

When doing intermittent fasting, you are just technically skipping breakfast, that’s it. The calories allotted supposedly for breakfast will then be divided into two meals – lunch and dinner. When you do eat, focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods to ensure you get the essential nutrients your body needs and also will make you feel fuller for a longer period of time.

And just a quick tip, when you’re feeling hungry during the morning, have a cup of black coffee with no sugar and cream or drink tea, these two are great appetite suppressants and help curb your hunger during the fasting window. And drink plenty of water during fasting periods to stay hydrated.
